NICOLE PRUTCH
DIRECTOR - CREATIVE SYNC & LICENSING

Nicole is no stranger to licensing music...

Nicole Prutch is a seasoned Music Supervisor and licensing expert with over 15 years of experience working on big-budget media projects.

While earning a degree in Mass Communications at the University of California, Berkeley, Nicole kicked off her career running the promotions department at KFOG radio in San Francisco. Her stint in radio was followed by a move to London to further her education, acquiring a Masters in Music Industry Management from London Metropolitan University. During her time in the UK, she took on internships at BMG and BBH before becoming the Creative Director at composer agency, Manners McDade where she got her feet wet pitching an eclectic neo-classical catalog including the likes of Max Richter and Dustin O’Halloran. During this time she also landed her first music supervision gigs on the award-winning drama, My Brother the Devil, and long-running BBC cult classic, Death In Paradise.

Back in her home state of California, Nicole found her way to Los Angeles where her career in Music Supervision grew into what it is today. As a film trailer music supervisor at Workshop Creative for 2 years, Nicole provided services to Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Open Road Films, Warner Bros., Universal Picture, STX Entertainment, as well as various promos and upfronts for ABC. Next, Nicole moved on to become the Director of Music at Lussier where her work focused on TV promos, launching notable releases like The Morning Show for Apple TV+, and The Good Dr. and Station 19 for ABC. Other clients included USA/Syfy, Freeform, 20th Century Studios, Amazon Studios, Discovery, CW, and Warner Bros.

A lifelong lover of music, Nicole believes the best moments people can experience can be found in music, and it’s been her guiding light throughout the years.

MOST INFLUENTIAL ALBUM

TUESDAY NIGHT MUSIC CLUBSHERYL CROW

There have been countless influential albums in my life, but I would have to say that my obsession with music really began in 1993 with Tuesday Night Club. I remember watching the music video for “All I Wanna Do” and it was the first time I saw a woman playing the guitar. I thought, “Wow, this is something I want to be a part of”! I memorized every lyric and probably drove my parents crazy playing the CD on repeat with my little purple boombox.
